Name-day widget for your home screen

The name-day widget shows who has a name day today on the home screen, so the app does not have to be opened. It ships in three sizes: small fills one icon slot, medium adds tomorrow, and large lists the week. On iOS the widget refreshes in the background; on Android it can be pinned wherever it fits on the home screen.

The widget can also be pointed at a chosen name, in which case it counts down the days to that name day. A long press opens its settings, where the readout switches between name, weekday, holiday, and moon phase. Inside the app the search field finds a name and stores it as a yearly recurring reminder.
